So I finished my latest shot at making bellows for my 5×7 last night, and they turned out well enough to mount on the camera (they don’t look as good as commercially made bellows, but they work). I just now got them mounted and the camera put back together. Everything is light tight, and functional so I’ll be using it hopefully this evening today.

Back when I was in school, I tried to make some bellows for my Eastman View No. 1, which I got on ebay for $120. The original bellows leaked really bad, so I set out to make my own. Long story short, I lost patience, and made a set of quasi-bag bellows, and I’ve been using those ever since.
About a week ago I decided to give it another shot, and I’ve finally got my pattern all figured out.
I hope to have four sides of cardstock cut out tonight and glued to the black fabric.
